At Kaha Suni Reading Club, we believe in providing equal opportunities and exposure to all students, including those living in slums, to develop their critical thinking skills through the exploration of history and art. We are proud to share that during the past year, we conducted two successful outreach programmes, thanks to the generous support of our partners, mentors, and supporters.

The first outreach programme was held in collaboration with The Hidden India, as we took 10 students on a visit to the Kamla Nehru Ridge Heritage Site on 25th September. It was an enlightening experience for the students as they witnessed historical sites belonging to different time periods in Indian history, ranging from the Ashoka Pillar to the English Site of Indian independence struggle of 1857. We are grateful to Mr. Prateek, our mentor and guide, for his unwavering support in making this programme a success.

Our second outreach programme was a visit to the National Museum on 11th January, 2023. We took 25 students on this trip to cherish the rich history and art of India. The day was filled with engaging activities, including games, prizes and a delicious lunch provided by our supporters, Badi Maa Foundation and Adv. Pinky Kapoor. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the National Museum team, especially Ms. Rige and Ms. Nazia, for their invaluable support in making this programme a memorable one.

These outreach programmes have been a significant milestone in our journey towards providing holistic education and exposure to students in need. The students were not only able to expand their knowledge about history and art but also developed critical thinking skills through interactive and immersive experiences. It is our firm belief that such initiatives can have a lasting impact on the lives of these students, shaping them into responsible and informed citizens of tomorrow.
